Annual Message from the President

Welcome to Northport Arts Association - Possibilities to realities! 

This year is another milestone year as a result of the artists, our members, sponsors, donors and volunteers. As we continue to move forward, it is with much gratitude. Thank you to all who donate, support, participate and spread the word about Northport Arts Association. I also want to share our appreciation for the valuable leadership of Betsy Ernst. This includes her tenure as President and with her continuing service on the board. Betsy, along with the support of our dedicated board, drove and drive many initiatives that elevate our rich offerings to artists and our members.

Our organization reaches and impacts diverse, seasoned and emerging artists from all ages and those who share a passion for the arts. From clay, to drawing, to painting, to jewelry making, to fiber, to photography and other media - there are art opportunities truly for all.

Our Northport area and the tip of Leelanau County envelops us with beauty. Consider our amazing blue and golden hour light, beaches and dunes surrounded by changing shades of blue. Step outside and see birds and wildlife, woodlands, grasslands and rolling hills filled with orchards and vineyards. 

Many of our artists’ works reflect how this area touches their soul and creativity.
