7/24 - 8/28 Pottery Studio: Wednesday Evening

Pottery Studio

Here's how it works:

1. Evening Pottery Studio sessions are on Wednesday 5:30-8:30pmpm.

2.  Pottery Studio time is open to all skill levels.

3. Each 6 week session is $90 for NAA Members, $125 for Non-Members (you will receive an individual NAA membership with the non-member fee)
You will then get the benefits of being an NAA member, such as discounts on classes, exhibit applications, yearly members exhibit and NAAweekly news) If you do not know your membership status, please contact the NAA. .

4. 3 hours in the studio on Wednesday from 5:30-8:30pm, 12.5lbs of clay (1/2 of a block), use of glazes, bisque firing and final firing. Use of pottery tools and equipment. Additional clay is available for purchase if needed at $95* for 25lbs includes firing and glaze. You cannot bring your own clay. Using your own glazes requires approval for firing.

5. Space is limited. There are 3 spaces for wheel throwing and 6 spaces for table work. Whichever space you sign up for will be your working space for the session.

6. There will be a facilitator present, their role is to open the space on time, have initial clay ready, take clay purchases,
help with use of equipment and help with question in regards to clay and glaze options.
Facilitator will be working in clay as well. There will not be instruction.

7. Most of all, enjoy making vessels, tiles, or sculpture and share with each other.

*$95 cost of clay is dependent on price volatility and is subject to change.
