Botanical Printing on Paper, 6/21 1-4pm
In this afternoon workshop you will learn about the materials used in dyeing on paper with fresh plants and flowers: what plants to use, equipment needed, paper preparation, bundling, cooking and drying times as well as recommended what types of material yield the best results.
Each student will leave with 4 botanical printed, double-sided sections of watercolor paper approximately 4 x 6 inches. End results could be framed or made into note cards or gift tags when fully dry.
Includes all materials
Class size limited to 10 students, age 16 on up.
Students bring: Rubber gloves to protect hands and old clothes you wouldn’t mind staining. Cardboard and newspapers to carry your wet prints home flat.
You may bring your own leaves and flowers to try. Karin will send a list of suggested before the class.
