 Chiaroscuro, a drawing technique that emerged during the Renaissance, is done on colored or toned paper and this class will explore various applications of tangling on a colored tile, which are called Renaissance tiles in Zentangle-speak. The use of black & brown ink, graphite, and white pencil will provide new opportunities to continue the Zentangle Journey in another direction.  

Enrollees must have some knowledge of the Zentangle Method to register.  There is a supply fee which will cover the materials needed for the class. This is a two & 1/2 hour class.

Dorothy Hughes Engelman is a CZT, Certified Zentangle Teacher, and has been practicing this non-representational, meditative drawing method since the beginning of the pandemic.
